Mentorship Program

Description:

Mentorship Program is a structured development initiative designed for male and female youth ages 13–24 who need guidance in mental toughness, self-regulation, social navigation, academic success, and career exploration.

The program connects participants with Young Professional Mentors across various industries who provide group mentorship, one-on-one support, and hands-on experiences that prepare youth for life, school, and future careers.

Focus: Black Youth 13-24 years
Registration: Required

Duration: 4|6|8|10 week sessions

Session Length: 1.5–2 hours per week

Goals & Objectives

The Mentorship Program is designed to give young people the tools, guidance, and confidence they need to succeed academically, professionally, socially, and emotionally. Through both male and female streams, youth will develop mental toughness, healthy habits, professional awareness, and a strong support network.

By the end of the program, participants will:

  • Develop mental toughness and emotional self-regulation

  • Build confidence, self-awareness, and personal responsibility

  • Strengthen communication, articulation, and presentation skills

  • Learn practical life skills

  • Gain foundational financial literacy

  • Explore diverse career pathways and industries

  • Develop positive decision-making, healthy boundaries, and leadership skills
