Taijon Eccleston-Graham

Student-Athlete Liaison

My name is Taijon Eccleston-Graham, I’m entering my final year at Nipissing University majoring in Business Administration and I’m the Student Director of Strategy & Innovation for The Harris Brand Foundation. I am the Co-Founder & President of the Nipissing University Black Association for Student Expression (NUBASE), the Founder & Director of Athletes for Change (ACA), and the co-creator of the With1VoiceNight: “Shoot for Change” Game, Powered by ACA & The Harris Brand Foundation. This event was created as a fundraiser to address a common systemic issue in postsecondary education, the lack of financial opportunities for BIPOC students. Since the launch of this event in 2022, over $25k has been successfully raised and led to the creation of The Warren Lindsay Bursary, the first BIPOC Bursary ever at Nipissing University. The success of this event has spread across Ontario University Athletics (OUA), including a partnership with the Toronto Raptors. With my expertise in event planning, fundraising, and passion for equity, diversity, and inclusion, I’m excited to be a part of an organization that is passionate about making a difference through the platform of sports, as well as becoming a part of their ground-breaking projects. I look forward to representing The Harris Brand Foundation and doing my part in making it one of the most prominent charities in Canada.
