Jennifer McBean

Banking Advisor

Jennifer McBean was born and raised in the Caribbean island of Jamaica, up until the age of 11 years old. Migrating to Canada at a very young age was difficult, from a cultural and economic standpoint.

Once of age, Jennifer worked around the clock to take care of her family. Through hard work and dedication, she landed a job at a major bank. At that point, Jennifer vowed to be the best person she can be, not only to herself, but to her family, friends and Job. Shortly after that, Jennifer’s hard work paid off, landing her a top managerial position.

To this day, Jennifer continues to work for a bank, logging over 30 years of service building strong client relationships and ensuring their financial needs.

Jennifer currently has a team of thirteen direct reports that she provides coaching and mentorship to. She continues to climb the corporate latter while fueling her passion for giving back to those in need, as she was years prior.

As Jennifer continues to expand her charitable efforts, she is overly excited to bring her expertise, her passion, and hard work to a charity like The Harris Brand Foundation that provides bursaries and scholarships to student-athletes.

A list of organizations and charity programs Jennifer continues to support are as follows: CIBC’s Run for the Cure, Microsoft Outreach Program, Cabbage Town Festival, Cabbage Town soccer club, United Way, Covenant House Toronto, Big Brother Big Sister and now The Harris Brand Foundation.
